BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) Anthony Lamb scored 18 points and Ernie Duncan added nine points including the winning layup with a second left to lift Vermont past Yale 67-65 on Saturday.

Vermont's Dre Wills made a free throw with 52 seconds to go tie the game at 65. Working the ball for a shot, Yale's Sam Downy missed a jumper with 29 seconds to go and Wills got the rebound before the Catamounts called timeout to set up for the last shot with 16 seconds to play.

Earlier, both teams buried 3s on successive possessions on shots from the Catamounts' Cam Ward, the Bulldogs' Miye Oni and Duncan, the last of which put Vermont (6-2) up 60-46.

The Bulldogs responded with 17-3 Yale run ending when Oni sank three free throws to give Yale (2-3) a 65-63 lead with 1:46 remaining. Oni led Yale with 19 points.
