Drake attends Pepperdine game to support family friend

Drake may have become a fan of another basketball team.

The Grammy Award winning hip-hop artist, who in the past has supported the Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors and the University of Kentucky, was in attendance for Pepperdine's 81-76 win over Pacific on Thursday night.

Drake was there to support family friend Lamond Murray Jr. The Pepperdine junior guard had a memorable night in front of the Canadian rapper, scoring 31 points and grabbing 10 boards for his first career double-double.

Following the game, Drake joined the Waves in the locker room. Before breaking down the huddle, Drake asked head coach Marty Wilson, "We at home on Saturday?"

Wilson nodded.

"I'm coming back on Saturday," he responded.

Pepperdine will gladly have Drake back if those are the numbers Murray will put up with him in the building.

Expect to see Drake for Saturday's matinee matchup with St. Mary's.
