Dickerson, San Francisco top San Diego 74-67

SAN DIEGO (AP) Cole Dickerson scored 21 points, including an emphatic dunk with 30 seconds left, to lead San Francisco past San Diego 74-67 Thursday night.

San Diego (13-12, 4-8 West Coast Conference) led 49-46 before a 7-0 spurt gave the Toreros a 10-point lead with 9:22 to play. USF scored 22 of the next 27 points, opening up a 68-61 lead with 57 seconds left.

Christopher Anderson missed a 3-pointer from the right wing, but grabbed the offensive rebound and found Johnny Dee in the right corner for a 3 that pulled San Diego within four just 9 seconds later.

Avry Holmes hit two free throws with 46 seconds to go and, after Dee missed a 3-pointer, Matt Glover found a streaking Dickerson for a breakaway dunk that sealed the win for USF (15-9, 8-4).

Dee paced USD with 18 points.

Kruize Pinkins added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Dons.
