DOVER, Del. (AP) Tyshawn Bell and Amere May scored 16 points apiece to lead Delaware State to a 59-50 comeback win over Savannah State on Monday night.

Kendall Gray hauled in 17 rebounds and added eight points for Delaware State (9-9, 3-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), which extended its win streak to three.

Down by eight at the break, the Hornets opened the second half with a 13-4 run capped by May's 3-pointer to edge back into the lead 34-33 with 14:56 remaining. Alante Fenner's bucket at the other end briefly put Savannah State back on top but Gray responded with a dunk to ignite a breakaway 10-0 run and build a lead that would hold the rest of the way.

Savannah State (4-14, 0-4) had five fewer turnovers but shot 38 percent from the floor, hitting just 3 of 11 from beyond the arc.
