Delaware State beats North Carolina A&T 57-55

DOVER, Del. (AP) Dana Raysor scored 16 points and Delaware State held on to beat North Carolina A&T 57-55 on Monday night.

DeVaughn Mallory's layup with 4:02 remaining gave Delaware State a 55-45 lead but that was its last field goal of the game. Denzel Keyes's 3-point play pulled NC A&T to within 56-54 with two minutes left.

Devin Morgan hit 1 of 2 free throws with 26 seconds left for a three-point lead. Sam Hunt also split a pair from the line but his miss went out of bounds off of Delaware State. NC A&T's inbound pass was stolen by Todd Hughes.

Morgan Jr. and Mallory each added 12 points for Delaware State (2-17, 1-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic).

Hunt hit 13 of 14 free throws and finished with 19 points for North Carolina A&T (5-16, 2-5), which was limited to 17-of-61 shooting (28 percent). Seven of the Aggies' 17 field goals were from 3-point range.
