Davis, Fischer lead BYU to 87-62 win over Loyola Marymount

PROVO, Utah (AP) Kyle Davis scored 19 points, Chase Fischer added 17 and Brigham Young rolled to an 87-62 win over Loyola Marymount on Thursday night.

The Cougars fell behind 8-0 but used a 10-0 spurt that turned into a 20-2 run and led 38-24 at the half. They shot 56 percent in the second half despite finishing 1 of 7 and coasted to their second win over the Lions in a week. They won 91-80 in Los Angeles last Thursday.

Corbin Kaufusi added 12 points, Kyle Collingsworth 11 with eight assists and Nick Emery had 10 points for BYU (15-7, 6-3 West Coast). Kaufusi hit all five of his shots from the field. Davis went 9 of 13 and Fischer had four 3-pointers.

Adom Jacko had 20 points for the Lions (10-11, 3-7) and Brandon Brown 10. The Lions made only one of their final 13 shots and shot 33 percent for the game.
