Davidson grabs 21 offensive boards in 93-82 win vs Duquesne

PITTSBURGH (AP) Jack Gibbs scored 25 points, Brian Sullivan had five 3-pointers and 22 points and Davidson beat Duquesne 93-82 on Saturday for the Wildcats' fourth straight win in the series.

The duo combined to make eight of Davidson's 12 3-pointers.

Nathan Ekwu added 14 points for Davidson (13-8, 5-5 Atlantic 10) while Rusty Reigel and Jordan Barham had 10 points apiece.

Davidson grabbed 21 offensive rebounds leading to 21 second-chance points. The Wildcats also scored 21 points off of 13 Duquesne turnovers.

Derrick Colter led Duquesne (15-8, 5-5) with 22 points and Micah Mason added 21 points with eight assists. L.G. Gill made four of the Dukes' 13 3-pointers and finished with 16 points.

Duquesne had a 16-13 lead after two Colter free throws, but Davidson's Jordan Watkins and Gibbs hit back-to-back 3-pointers during an 8-0 run and the Wildcats never trailed again. Gibbs scored 18 points in the half as Davidson led 48-35.
