HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) Chaise Daniels had what would prove to be the game-winning block with 0.4 seconds left in Quinnipiac's 56-55 win over Saint Peter's on Thursday night.

Daniels held his ground and swatted Trevis Wyche's driving attempt out of bounds. Quadir Welton made a shot for Saint Peter's from the ensuing inbounds pass but it was ruled too late after an official review.

Abdulai Bundu hit 1 of 2 free throws to give Quinnipiac (9-17, 6-11 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) the winning score with 8 seconds left.

Daniels, Giovanni McLean and Daniel Harris each had 10 points to lead the Bobcats. James Ford Jr. chipped in with nine points and six assists.
