CS Northridge 109, Vanguard 66

Josh Greene scored 17 points to lead four Cal State-Northridge players in double figures and the Matadors posted an easy 109-66 victory over Vanguard on Saturday.

Greene, a freshman, was 10-for-11 from the free throw line for Cal State-Northridge (1-2), which won its home opener after losing at UCLA and California. The Matadors never trailed and led 34-11 midway through the first half.

Dathan Lyles and Lenny Daniel had 16 points each and Rashaun McLemore 13 for the Matadors. Daniel had nine rebounds and Lyles contributed seven assists and four steals.

Cameron Nettles led all scorers with 18 points for the Lions, who are members of NAIA.
