Issiah Grayson hit a jump shot with two seconds left in the game to give Cal State Bakersfield a 67-65 victory over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday night.
The game was close all the way. Perry Webster hit a 3-point basket for Cal State Fullerton (10-6) with a minute to play to tie the contest for the ninth time.
Stephon Carter missed a jumper with 31 seconds left and Rashad Savage grabbed the offensive rebound to set up the final sequence after Cal State Bakersfield (10-9) called a timeout with 20 seconds to go.
Carter finished with 25 points to lead the Roadrunners, and Grayson had 12 along with eight assists. Isiah Umipig scored 17 points to lead Cal State Fullerton and Omondi Amoke scored 15.
