Gene Cross is out as Toledo’s men’s basketball coach
after just two seasons.
Cross, a former assistant at DePaul, Virginia and Notre Dame,
took over for Stan Joplin in 2007 and has gone 11-53 in his tenure.
According to multiple sources, the decision was made on
Thursday after the team completed its worst season in its 95-year
history, finishing with a 4-28 record.
The Rockets lost to Buffalo in the MAC tournament.
