Doug McDermott had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Creighton held Samford to a season-low in points in a 58-40 victory on Wednesday night.
Antoine Young also scored 14 points for the Bluejays (8-4), who won their fourth straight and final tuneup before opening Missouri Valley Conference play Wednesday at Illinois State.
Jeffrey Merritt had nine points to lead the Bulldogs, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
