CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) Willis Hall scored 21 points with nine rebounds as College of Charleston pounded William & Mary 87-54 Wednesday night.

The Cougars (14-14, 6-7 Colonial Athletic Association) shot nearly 63 percent from the field (32 of 51), including 14 3-pointers out of 22 tries - both season bests. Hall personified the sharpshooting, making 8 of his 10 shots, including 3 of 4 from deep. Nori Johnson banged down 4 of 7 3-pointers for 16 points and Canyon Barry scored 17, hitting 3 of 5 3-pointers.

William & Mary (16-10, 8-5) was fresh off a school-record 16 3-pointers on Feb. 17. But the Tribe hit only 2 of 16 long-range shots and was outrebounded 36-18. Scoring leader Marcus Thornton was held to nine points on 3 of 12 shooting, just his second game this season in single digits. Omar Prewitt and Tim Rusthoven scored 13 each for the Tribe.
