CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) Cameron Johnson and Jarrell Brantley made four straight free throws in the final seconds to secure victory as College of Charleston thwarted a late Towson rally for a 62-57 win on Thursday night.

Towson led 30-27 at the break but Charleston charged back to take the lead for good following a Brantley jumper at the 11:05 mark. That started a 12-6 run for the Cougars who were up 58-53 with 56 seconds left.

Towson's Eddie Keith II followed his own miss with a tip-in to close to 58-57 with 23 seconds remaining. Johnson and Brantley then hit the free throws to seal the win.
