Andrew Goudelock scored 17 points, leading seven College of Charleston players in double figures in a 91-87 win over Appalachian State on Monday night. Dustin Scott added 14 points, Jeremy Simmons and Antwaine Wiggans had 12 apiece, Tony White Jr. scored 11 and Donavan Monroe and Matt Sundberg finished with 10 apiece for the Cougars (19-7, 11-5 Southern Conference). Simmons also had 11 rebounds and three blocks. Kellen Brand led the Mountaineers (10-15, 7-10) with 22 points, Donald Sims had 13 and A.J. Highsmith chipped in 11. The Cougars led 81-67 on Wiggans' 3-pointer with 4:23 left to play, but the Mountaineers went on a 20-5 run to go up by one point with 15 seconds remaining. But White hit a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left to retake the lead at 89-87 and Matt Sundberg hit two free throws to seal the game.
