Andrew Goudelock scored 18 points to lead College of Charleston over Wofford 77-73 on Saturday night in a matchup of Southern Conference South Division leaders.

Goudelock's 3-pointer broke a 53-53 tie with 11:37 remaining to give the Cougars (11-5, 4-0) a lead they never relinquished. But the Terriers (6-9, 3-1) fell back no farther than five points until jumpers by Jeremy Simmons on consecutive possessions put Charleston up 70-63 with 3:05 left.

Wofford whittled its deficit to 72-71 with 13 seconds remaining on Cameron Rundles' jumper, but two free throws by Goudelock after a timeout made it 74-71.

Noah Dahlman again cut the margin to one, 74-73, with two free throws at the 0:06 mark, but Charleston's Donavan Monroe responded with two free throws and Wofford's Jamar Diggs missed a 3-point try with 2 seconds left.
