Mitch Rolls scored 15 points and Sterling Melville added 14 to help Colgate hold off St. Francis (N.Y.) 65-63 on Saturday.

Rolls went 6-of-6 from the free throw line and Melville scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half in a game that saw eight ties and nine lead changes.

Colgate (4-5) took a 58-54 lead behind a Melville 3-pointer but St. Francis (2-6) rallied and took a 61-60 lead with 2:29 to play. However, Yaw Gyawu recorded a steal and a fastbreak layup on the next possession to put the Raiders ahead 62-61. Rolls' jumper with 1:28 left pushed the lead to 64-61.

St. Francis' final rally attempt fell short as Brent Jones missed a layup to tie the game as time expired.
