Jeremy Robinson had 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Chicago State won on the road for the first time this season, defeating Houston Baptist 65-56 Thursday night.

The Cougars (4-22, 2-6 Great West) had lost their first 15 road games this season. But they never trailed Thursday and completed a sweep of the Huskies, having won the previous meeting in Chicago last month, 98-95 in overtime.

Matt Samuels scored 14 points, Clarke Rosenberg scored 13 and Lee Fisher had 12 points for Chicago State, which used a late 11-0 run to put it away. Terry Bembry led Houston Baptist (8-17, 1-5) with 15 points. Marcel Smith scored 10 points. The Huskies rallied from a 13-point first-half deficit to tie at 47 with 10 minutes left.

Chicago State's last road win came on Feb. 5, 2011, a 70-64 victory over Texas-Pan American - the Cougars' next opponent on Saturday.
