CHATANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) Greg Pryor scored 18 points and Chattanooga eased past UAB 83-67 on Monday.
Pryor was 9 of 11 from the line. Casey Jones added 14 points and nine rebounds, Ronrico White had 13 points and Justin Tuoyo scored 11 and grabbed 12 boards.
UAB was paced by Robert Brown's 19 points. Hakeem Baxter had 15 and Nick Norton added 12.
Chattanooga jumped out to an 8-2 lead - on a pair of 3-pointers by White - and extended the lead to double digits on Lance Stokes' layup with 8:57 in the half. The Mocs scored the last eight points to lead 46-25 at intermission.
UAB cut its deficit to nine with 6:31 remaining after a three-point play by Norton but Pryor made four consecutive free throws and Chattanooga kept UAB at arm's length the rest of the way.
