Central Arkansas posts 2nd largest victory, 100-29
Imad Qahwash scored 21 points, Chris Henson and TK Smith each had 18 and Central Arkansas recorded its second-largest margin of victory, 100-29 over Champion Baptist on Tuesday.
Henson also had 10 rebounds for the Bears (2-2) while Carlos Dos Santos added 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Wesley Bayer had nine points to lead Champion Baptist (0-6) out of Hot Springs and a member of the Association of Christian College Athletics.
Central Arkansas built a 25-2 lead 9 minutes into the game, led 58-10 at halftime and outrebounded Champion Baptist 58-17. The Bears scored 56 points in the paint and shot 56.2 percent (41 of 73) while limiting the Tigers to 22.6 percent (12 of 53).
The 71-point margin trails only a 142-65 victory over Philander Smith in 1990.
