Forward Will Regan has signed a scholarship agreement to transfer to play for the University at Buffalo men's basketball team after spending his freshman season at Virginia last year.
Listed at 6-foot-8, Regan will have three years of eligibility left after being required to sit out next season. From suburban Buffalo, Regan scored 25 points and had 18 rebounds in averaging 6.6 minutes over 20 games for the Cavaliers last season.
At Buffalo's Nichols School, he was a three-time All-Western New York selection and helped the team win a state title in his senior season.
Buffalo announced the signing on Tuesday.
