Cal State Fullerton beats Portland State 106-100 in 2OT

FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) Tre' Coggins scored 31 points and made eight 3-pointers, including the go-ahead 3 in the second overtime, and Cal State Fullerton beat Portland State 106-100 on Sunday night.

Coggins' corner 3 made it 101-98 with 1:03 left in the game. Kyle Allman made four free throws to push the lead to seven with 14 seconds left and the Titans (2-0) held from there. Allman added a career-high 27 points and Jackson Rowe scored 18.

Coggins forced the first overtime with a trio of free throws with 16 seconds left in regulation. He finished 8 of 18 from 3-point range and grabbed eight rebounds for the Titans.

Bryce Canda's 3 tied it for Portland State (0-2) at 90-all with 10 seconds left in the first overtime and Coggins missed a layup in the final seconds.

Braxton Tucker led the Vikings with 22 points. Canda scored 17 and Zach Gengler added 16.
