Chrishawn Hopkins scored 13 points and Butler never trailed Thursday night in beating Wright State 64-53.
Andrew Smith scored 11 points, making all four of his shots from the field, for Butler. The Bulldogs (13-11, 7-5 Horizon League) raced to a 15-4 lead and were ahead 35-26 at halftime.
Erik Fromm had 10 points off the bench and Roosevelt Jones grabbed 11 rebounds for Butler, which played its first home game in 18 days. They had split four road games since then.
Armond Battle was the only player in double figures for Wright State (11-13, 6-6). He scored 18 points on 6 for 7 shooting from the field, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range for the Raiders.
