Texas guard J'Covan Brown is still listed as "day to day" by team officials, leaving his status for Monday night's game against Oklahoma uncertain.

Brown was immobilized and carried off the court Saturday after hitting his head on a hard fall in No. 21 Texas' 74-58 loss at Texas A&M. He was taken to a College Station hospital but was later released with what team trainer Eric Fry called a "neck strain."

Texas (22-7) has lost seven of its last 12 games and already has lost two guards, Varez Ward and Dogus Balbay, for the season with injuries.
