Peter Sullivan scored 14 points as Brown routed Lyndon State 88-55 on Saturday night, only hours after the Lyndon State bus was involved in a multi-car accident that resulted in no injuries to players.

The Hornets' bus, traveling from their Vermont campus, slipped on ice, which contributed to the accident on I-93 South in Canterbury, N.H. A portion of the interstate highway was shut down because of the treacherous conditions.

The game's start was delayed by 2 1/2 hours as a result. It went as expected, with the Bears (6-7) getting balanced scoring - Garrett Leffelman and Matt Sullivan each had 13, Sean McGonagill and Dockery Walker 12 apiece - and Lyndon State (1-9) having trouble scoring.

The Hornets made only 19 of 64 shots (29.7 percent) and trailed by as many as 40 points in a game they never led. Jose Fortunato led Lyndon State with 13 points.
