Bowling Green races past Eastern Michigan 74-58

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) Anthony Henderson made three of Bowling Green's 11 3-pointers and finished with 17 points to help the Falcons beat Eastern Michigan 74-58 on Wednesday night.

The 11 3-pointers tied a season high for Bowling Green. The Falcons needed 32 attempts in a win over Chicago State on Jan. 3, but made 45.5 percent of its 25 shots from distance against Eastern Michigan.

Richaun Holmes and Zack Denny both had double-doubles for Bowling Green (12-4, 4-1 Mid-American). Holmes scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Denny added 10 and 10. Delvin Dickerson pitched in 12 points.

Bowling Green jumped out to a 37-26 lead at the half after shooting 43 percent and forcing nine turnovers. Holmes had 11, Henderson 10 and Dickerson nine.

Tim Bond led Eastern Michigan (12-6, 1-4) with 13 points and Raven Lee added 11.

Bowling Green is now 10-1 this year when scoring 60 points or more.
