Darryl Partin scored 32 points, including six free throws in the final 38 seconds, and Boston University held off Cornell 66-61 on Saturday.

Partin, who entered the game shooting 26.7 percent from the field and 20 percent from 3-point range, made 10 of 14 field goals, including 5 of 6 from three-point range. The effort matched his season total of 3-pointers before Saturday's game.

Boston U. trailed 38-34 in the second half and went on a 13-0 run to lead 47-38 with 9:15 remaining. Cornell answered with an 11-1 run. With Boston U. leading 58-57 with 1:06 remaining, Partin scored the Terriers' next six points at the free throw line for a 64-59 lead with 13 seconds left.

John Holland added 11 points for the Terriers (4-3).

Drew Ferry scored 22 points on the strength of six 3-pointers to lead Cornell (2-4), which has lost three in a row by a total of 12 points.
