Bob Huggins has great reason for not wearing suits
By Matt Hladik
When West Virginia takes on Maryland in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 on Sunday, Mountaineers head coach Bob Huggins will be wearing his customary sideline gear. Unlike almost every other coach that wears a shirt and tie, Huggins prefers a windbreaker emblazoned with a WVU logo. Sometimes he wears a short-sleeved one, sometimes one with sleeves. Either way, it’s atypical coaching attire.
The always colorful Huggins was asked on Saturday about why he eschews more formal clothes, and his response was typically humorous.
"Because I'm not a banker," Huggins said, per Zac Jackson of FOX Sports Ohio. "I'm at the point in my life now, I'm on the downhill. I've been doing this a long, long time and I'm going to be comfortable."
Never change, Bob.
