Mahamoud Jabbi scored 17 points and Greer Wright added 16 to lead Binghamton past New Hampshire 66-61 on Saturday.
The Bearcats (4-10, 1-0 America East Conference) trailed 46-42 with 9:45 left to play, but went on a 13-1 run - sparked by Jabbi's nine points - to take a 55-47 lead with 4:48 left. New Hampshire came no closer than three points the rest of the way.
Jimmy Gray and Moussa Camara scored 10 each for the Bearcats, who shot 53.8 percent in the second half (14 of 26).
New Hampshire (6-9, 0-3) led by as many as 14, 27-13, with 6:39 remaining in the opening half, but went 10 for 29 from the field (34.5 percent) after halftime and missed all 10 of its 3-point attempts.
Tyrone Conley scored 16 and Chandler Rhoads added 15 for the Wildcats, who were without third-leading scorer Ferg Myrick (12.1 points per game) after suffering a season-ending ruptured patellar tendon on Jan. 4.
