Billbury with 34, ORU beats Nebraska-Omaha 102-86

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Korey Billbury scored a career-high 34 points and Oral Roberts broke the century mark for the first time since 2011 with a 102-86 victory over Nebraska-Omaha on Wednesday night.

Billbury shot 13 of 19 from the field and dished out five assists. Obi Emegano had 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting. Bobby Word had 12 points and Jabbar Singleton chipped in 10 for Oral Roberts (9-8, 3-1 Summit League), which made 36 of 62 field goals and 20 of 22 from the line.

Oral Roberts led 53-43 at the break, and stretched it to 77-57 on Billbury's layup with 13:39 remaining. The Golden Eagles have won five of their last six games.

CJ Carter had 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting to lead Nebraska-Omaha (7-10, 1-4). Mike Rostampour added 12 points and Marcus Tyus 11 for the Mavericks, who have lost four straight.
