Belmont beats Lipscomb 105-89

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Taylor Barnette scored 22 points, Craig Bradshaw added 20, and Belmont beat Lipscomb 105-89 on Tuesday night.

Barnette and Bradshaw both made six 3-pointers as Belmont (5-3) went 16 of 31 from beyond the arc and shot over 59 percent overall. Evan Bradds scored 19 points with 12 rebounds and five assists, Dylan Winder had 13 points and eight boards and Mack Mercer added 11 points.

Josh Williams paced Lipscomb (3-6) with 20 points. Nathan Moran had 19 points and J.C. Hampton added 17.

Belmont used a 19-5 run midway through the first half to go up 25-17, but Lipscomb responded with a 9-0 run - including a 3-pointer by Hampton - and trailed by just three at the break.

Belmont opened a 10-point cushion after Barnette and Amanze Egekeze hit 3-pointers early in the second half, and the Bruins scored 57 points after intermission.
