Austin Peay rallies to beat SE Missouri 83-75

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Josh Robinson and Chris Horton combined for 35 points as Austin Peay rallied to beat Southeast Missouri 83-75 on Saturday night to close out the regular season.

Robinson had 18 points and Horton added 17 points while grabbing nine rebounds. Chris Porter-Bunton had 14 points for Austin Peay (14-17, 7-9 Ohio Valley Conference), currently tied with Eastern Kentucky for the eighth and final conference tournament slot.

Southeast Missouri was up 51-45 at the 14:18 mark of the second half when Kenny Jones nailed a jumper to start a 10-2 run and the Governors took their first lead in the second half, 55-53, with 10:21 left. Southeast Missouri charged back to lead 63-58 following two Trey Kellum free throws. Austin Peay took the lead for good when Khalil Davis drilled a trey for a 67-65 lead with 4:12 left.

Antonius Cleveland had for 24 points for the Redhawks (5-24, 2-14).
