Tyshwan Edmondson had 33 points and 10 rebounds, and Austin Peay overcame a 13-point second-half deficit to defeat Eastern Illinois 77-73 in overtime on Saturday night.
Edmondson shot 10 for 25 from the floor and hit six 3-pointers for the Governors (5-4, 2-0 Ohio Valley). His jumper made the score 75-71 with 47 seconds remaining in overtime, and he sank two free throws with 2 seconds left to seal the win.
Anthony Campbell added 17 points and John Fraley 11 for Austin Peay.
Shaun Pratl had 19 points and Tyler Laser 15 for the Panthers (3-5, 1-1).
