Martavius Adams made 1 of 2 free-throw attempts with 6 seconds remaining to lift Arkansas State past Louisiana-Monroe 62-61 on Thursday night.

Adams scored 21 points and pulled down seven rebounds for the Red Wolves (11-12, 5-4 Sun Belt), who remained unbeaten (10-0) at home this season.

Fred Brown, who led the Warhawks (6-16, 1-7) with 17 points, missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Hugo Mingo's 3-pointer with 24 seconds left had allowed Louisiana-Monroe to tie it at 61.

Trey Finn scored 10 points and had six rebounds for the Red Wolves, who shot 50 percent (22 of 44) while the Warhawks shot 44 percent (23 of 52).

Lawrence Gilbert had 13 points, Tommie Sykes added 12 and Mingo finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds for Louisiana-Monroe.
