Arkansas-Little Rock beats Central Arkansas 85-71

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) James White scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Arkansas-Little Rock over Central Arkansas 85-71 on Saturday.

White was 10 of 12 from the floor and led five Trojans in double figures as the team shot 55 percent, despite going 4 of 14 on 3-pointers. Josh Hagins had 19 points and Roger Woods had 18.

Little Rock (4-1) trailed by two with 9:30 left in the first but used an 11-0 run - including a Hagins 3-pointer - to build a 47-37 lead at intermission. The Trojans shot 57 percent in the half and a perfect 10 for 10 from the line.

Central Arkansas (0-6) was 11 of 25 from beyond the arc but couldn't cut into the second half deficit. Mike Martin had 21 points, including five 3-pointers, and Jordan Howard scored 20 points.
