Marshawn Powell scored a season-high 17 points to lead Arkansas to an 87-64 win over Mississippi Valley State on Wednesday night.

Delvon Johnson added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Razorbacks (7-1), who won their fourth straight after a loss to Alabama-Birmingham on Nov. 26.

Powell, who has been slowed in his recovery from a broken foot suffered in the offseason, scored 12 points in Arkansas' last game, a win over Seton Hall. He scored 10 in the first half against the Delta Devils (1-8), finishing 7 of 14 from the field.

Mississippi Valley led 32-30 late in the first half after D'Angelo Jackson scored on a fast break, but Arkansas followed with a 33-13 run to take control. Jackson, Mark Holmes and Terrence Joyner led the Delta Devils with 10 points each.
