GREENVILLE, Miss. (AP) LeAntwan Luckett and Octavius Brown combined for 45 points to lead Alcorn State past Mississippi Valley State 67-63 Saturday night.

The game originally was scheduled to be played at Alcorn State, but an earlier bomb threat on the Mississippi Valley State campus and the Leflore County Civic Center forced a change in the schedule. The January 18th game was played in Lorman, with the Braves earning a 65-53 win.

Luckett scored 25 points on 10-for-16 shooting to lead Alcorn State (9-15, 6-6 SWAC), with Brown adding 20 points, going 8 for 14 from the field. The Braves shot a collective 24 of 47 from the field (51.1 percent).

Julius Francis recorded his first career double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing an equal number of rebounds to lead Mississippi Valley State (8-17, 4-8), which led by two, 30-28, at intermission. DeAngelo Priar and Anthony McDonald also scored 11 points apiece.
