Zeke Marshall scored 13 points and Nikola Cvetinovic recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds as Akron beat Florida A&M 91-69 on Saturday.

Akron (5-5) opened the game on a 9-2 run and expanded its lead to 24 points, 39-15, after a Marshall layup and Cvetinovic free throw. The Zips led 48-19 at halftime.

Akron outshot Florida A&M 46.9 percent (30 of 64) to 36.8 percent (25 of 68) and outrebounded the Rattlers 48-36.

The Rattlers (3-8) committed 14 turnovers and allowed 22 points off those errors. Florida A&M registered six assists compared to 18 for Akron.

The Zips have won 12 straight home games dating back to last season.

Marshall also recorded three blocks in the win, moving into ninth place all-time on the career blocked shots list for the Mid-American Conference. He is three blocks away from taking over eighth place from NBA center Chris Kaman.
