Aaron Harrison injures finger, says he will play Saturday
The Kentucky Wildcats had little reason to worry during their 78-39 blowout victory over the West Virginia Mountaineers on Thursday. But one scary moment came when guard Aaron Harrison dislocated his finger in the second half of the victory.
Harrison returned to the game after getting his finger reset, and the sophomore guard is confident he will be ready for the Wildcats' next game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday.
"I'm playing Saturday," said Harrison, who finished with 12 points Thursday.
Harrison suffered the injury on his nonshooting hand, which was heavily taped when he returned to the game.
"I mean it was different to have something on my left hand when I tried to shoot it, but I'll figure a way out," Harrison said. "I'm definitely playing Saturday."
