4 in doubles figures in Cincinnati's win over Lipscomb

CINCINNATI (AP) Jarron Cumberland scored 17 points off the bench and Cincinnati beat Lipscomb 91-68 on Saturday.

Kyle Washington added 15 points, Jacob Evans 14 and Kevin Johnson 13 for the Bearcats (5-1), who were 31-of-59 shooting for 52.5 percent, including 8 of 17 on 3-pointers. They outscored the Bisons 21-5 at the free-throw line and turned 19 turnovers into 26 points.

Garrison Mathews scored 19 points and Josh Williams 10 for Lipscomb (2-5), which lost its fourth straight. The Bisons came in ranked eighth nationally with 58 3-pointers, averaging 9.7 a game, but they were only 7 of 27 from the arc against the Bearcats.

The Bearcats raced ahead 21-4 to open the game. They led by 12 at halftime and were up by double figures the entire second half, leading by as many as 27.
