3 players leaving Neb. men's basketball program
Nebraska men's basketball coach Doc Sadler says three players will leave the program at the end of the semester.
He says he is disappointed to lose forward Quincy Hankins-Cole and guards Myles Holley and Ray Gallegos.
Hankins-Cole, a junior from Roosevelt, N.Y., played in 26 games this past season and averaged 4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. He says he's leaving to attend to a personal matter.
Holley, a sophomore from Norfolk, Va., averaged 3.4 points and 2 rebounds over 22 games, while freshman Gallegos, from Jordan, Utah, averaged 3 points and 1.4 rebounds over 30 games. Both indicated they want to be closer to home and Holley says he wants more playing time.
Nebraska finished the season 15-18, including 2-14 in the Big 12.
