Huck beats Afolabi to keep WBO cruiserweight title

Marco Huck of Germany retained his WBO cruiserweight title with an unanimous decision over Ola Afolabi of Britain on Saturday.

In a close fight, Huck had the upper hand in most of the 12 rounds. He was in trouble in the fifth after receiving a couple of blows to the head, but the German recovered and landed more punches throughout the fight.

Two of the judges scored it 115-113 and one had it 116-112.

Huck improved to 27-1, while Afolabi dropped to 14-2 with three draws.
