1995: Started racing karts.
2006: Entered Formula One in August becoming the reserve driver for BMW Sauber at the Turkish Grand Prix.
2007: Made his F1 debut for BMW Sauber at U.S. Grand Prix. Released in July to join Toro Rosso, becoming race driver from the Hungarian Grand Prix onwards.
2008: Became the youngest driver in history to win a Formula One Grand Prix at the Italian Grand Prix at 21 years and 74 days.
