ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers their 2017 spring training broadcast schedule which includes 16 television games, 16 radio contests, and 12 free webcasts on texasrangers.com Gameday Audio.

The Rangers' regular season television rightsholder, FOX Sports Southwest is scheduled to carry five Texas productions, beginning with the Sunday, March 5 contest versus the Chicago Cubs at Surprise (2:05 p.m. CT). FSSW's other productions will be Thursday, March 9 vs. World Baseball Classic qualifier Venezuela (2:05 p.m. CT) and Monday, March 13 vs. San Francisco (8:05 p.m. CT), both in Surprise and two games in Texas, Saturday, March 18 against Cleveland in San Antonio (2:05 p.m. CT) and Saturday, April 1 versus Kansas City in Arlington (1:05 p.m. CT).

In addition, five games will be carried by TXA21, three from Surprise: Saturday, March 11 vs. the Chicago White Sox (2:05 p.m. CT); Sunday, March 19 vs. Seattle (3:05 p.m. CT), and Sunday, March 26 vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers (3:05 p.m. CT). TXA21’s other spring telecasts will be Friday, March 17 against Cleveland in San Antonio (7:05 p.m. CT) and Friday, March 31 vs. Kansas City at Globe Life Park in Arlington (7:05 p.m. CT). The Rangers game with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday, March 23 is an ESPN National telecast.

FOX Sports Southwest will also carry the opponents' television broadcast for an additional five games: Wednesday, March 1; Friday, March 17; and Wednesday, March 22 vs. the Los Angeles Angels; Tuesday, March 14 against Arizona; and Monday, March 20 vs. San Diego.

The Rangers' radio flagship, 105.3 The FAN will carry 16 games beginning with the opener on Saturday, February 25 versus Kansas City at Surprise Stadium (2:05 p.m. CT). The radio schedule will consist of weekday night games and all weekend contests. A number of stations on the Texas Rangers radio network will also carry the games.

The 12 free webcasts on texasrangers.com Gameday Audio begin on Monday, February 27 when the Rangers host Milwaukee at Surprise Stadium at 2:05 p.m. CT.

Dave Raymond, Tom Grieve, and C.J. Nitkowski will provide television coverage while Eric Nadel, Matt Hicks, and Jared Sandler will call the majority of the spring radio games.

The Rangers Spanish flagship radio station Univision Radio 1270 AM will carry the final spring training game vs. Kansas City on Saturday, April 1 (1:05 p.m. CT) at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Eleno Ornelas and Jose Guzman will team on the home Spanish broadcasts in 2017.
