All-Big 12 cornerback Zack Sanchez will start Saturday against Baylor, coach Bob Stoops said Monday during his weekly media conference.
Well, sort of.
Sanchez has missed the past two weeks after getting hurt on the first play of the game against Texas Tech. Stoops said he will practice Monday and should be ready to go by the time the Sooners play at Baylor Saturday in Wac, Texas.
"If Zack is healthy," he’ll start Stoops said.
Sanchez has 11 career interceptions and three this season.
Offensive tackle Jonathan Alvarez is also expected to be back for Saturday’s game.
