LONDON — Quarterback Tony Romo returned to practice Thursday at Allianz Park. The 34-year-old passer had missed last week’s game, a 28-17 loss against the Arizona Cardinals, with two fractures transverse process.
For being out a week and a half, Romo’s passes had their normal zip. The only difference was Romo’s reps were down.
The three-time Pro Bowler got to practice behind his starting offensive line, with starting offensive guard Ronald Leary and right tackle Doug Free having returned yesterday. The two remained as full participants on Thursday.
On the defensive side of the ball, tackles Tyrone Crawford and Nick Hayden missed practice for the second straight day. Linebacker Rolando McClain also missed with a right knee injury.
Rookie linebacker Anthony Hitchens had full participation after only being limited in Wednesday’s practice.
