Pitcher Brad Penny, Thunder dancer marry in Hawaii

Former MLB pitcher Brad Penny tied the knot with Oklahoma City Thunder dancer in Hawaii Friday.

Though the former All-Star hasn’t pitched this season, he’s found love off the field with Kaci Cook, and the two are not shy of about sharing their feelings on their social media accounts.

The newlyweds already posted photos of the special day, complete with celebrity cameos from UFC fighters Chuck Liddell, Dan Henderson and actor Jason Biggs.

No word on when or how they started dating, but the two got engaged January 18, 2013 in Los Cabos Mexico. According to the photos, posted on Facebook, Brad went all out for the occasion, splurging on rose petals adorning the hotel room before proposing during a private dinner on the beach.

Both are natives of Oklahoma, though have decided to reside in Kansas. Kaci attended Kansas State.

On July 1st, Kaci wrote on her Facebook: “It’s official! Brad and I are going to be Kansans! :)” with the photo in front of their new, impressive house.

Penny’s previous engagement to Dancing With The Stars pro Karina Smirnoff fizzled out late in 2011. But one thing is for sure, Brad Penny likes women that know how to dance.
