College slam dunk contest doesn’™t disappoint

The NBA Slam Dunk contest may have turned into a snooze-fest in the past few years, but luckily the college version seems to still be going strong at SMU’s Moody Coliseum in Dallas as a part of the Final Four festivities in North Texas on Thursday night.

Eastern Kentucky’s Marcus Lewis took home the championship belt beating out Baylor’s Cory Jefferson in the final round, but the dunk — and following celebration — from Michigan State’s Adreian Payne might have stolen the show.

While the dunk certainly was impressive, Payne didn’t qualify for the final round, but if his bowling celebration would have factored into the judging, he likely would have been wearing the championship belt home
