Auburn helps Aggie find lost ring after upset

Previously No. 3 Auburn’s 41-38 loss to unranked Texas A&M was devastating, but the Tigers were still happy to help an Aggie in need who made the trip for the game last weekend.

After a blocked field goal attempt returned for a touchdown that gave Texas A&M a shocking 35-17 halftime lead, Layton Miller, a 2012 alumnus, lost his Aggie ring in celebration.

But this isn’t just any old college memorabilia. Nobody values their class rings like Aggies do.

After an unsuccessful search at Jordan-Hare Stadium before heading back to Texas, the Auburn Grounds Crew continued to look for Miller’s ring.

Not only did they find it, but they mailed it back to him with a classy note congratulating Texas A&M on its big win.
