ATLANTA — Atlanta Braves legend and 2014 MLB Hall of Fame inductee Tom Glavine will return to the FOX Sports booth to join play-by-play announcer Chip Caray and analyst Joe Simpson for the Atlanta Braves vs. Miami Marlins series from April 21-23. All three games will air on SportSouth.
Glavine, who initially joined the regional network for Sunday Braves telecasts in 2010, will serve as an analyst for select games throughout the season.
One of the greatest figures in Braves history, Glavine was drafted by the team in the second round of the 1984 First-Year Player Draft.
The 1995 World Series MVP was a ten-time All-Star selection, five-time National League leader in wins and five-time 20-game winner.
The FOX Sports regional networks, FOX Sports South and SportSouth, are scheduled to televise 156 Braves games in 2014; the most Braves games carried in the history of the networks. Eighty-three games are currently scheduled for SportSouth and 73 games are slated for FOX Sports South. Of the remaining six games in the regular season, FOX Sports 1 will televise three games and the FOX Broadcast Network will televise three games making every regular season Braves game available on a FOX Sports outlet.
